Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and execution. The CTO will oversee the development and dissemination of technology for products, services, and internal operations. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will play a critical role in shaping the company's vision, driving innovation, and ensuring our technological resources align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s vision, goals, and growth plans.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor the engineering, product development, and IT teams. Build a high-performing technology organization.
- Innovation: Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
- Product Development: Oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable and secure products and systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other executives, especially the CEO, COO, and CPO, to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Risk Management: Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, and risk mitigation in all technological processes.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party vendors, technology partnerships, and outsourced development.
- Budgeting: Oversee technology budgets, making cost-effective decisions regarding hardware, software, and resources.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for technology performance and product delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a technology leadership role, preferably as a CTO or VP of Engineering.
- Strong background in software development, systems architecture, and infrastructure management.
- Demonstrated ability to scale tech operations in a high-growth environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
